2. Ocean Park Hong Kong
Part theme park, part oceanarium, Ocean Park has been a favourite destination for Hong Kong residents since its opening in 1977. Visitors can expect rollercoasters, rides, marine creatures, animals, plenty of entertainment and live shows across the park’s 91.5ha area, which includes a mountain, a cable car system and a funicular railway.

3. Victoria Peak
Home of one of the best views on Hong Kong Island, Victoria Peak has been a destination for tourists and the well-to-do since the early Colonial era. Popularly reached by The Peak tramway, visitors can enjoy spectacular views of Hong Kong, Victoria Harbour and Lamma Island, alongside world-class shopping at The Peak Galleria and The Peak Tower shopping malls.

The Avenue of Stars, modelled on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, pays homage to the greats of Hong Kong Cinema as well as offering impressive views of Victoria Harbour.
8. A Symphony of Lights
Every night from 8pm the skyline of Hong Kong comes alive in a multimedia light, sound, laser and fireworks show celebrating the spirit of the territory. The show is free and spans both sides of Victoria Harbour, with the Avenue of Stars being a popular vantage point to enjoy the proceedings from.

9. Ngong Ping 360
A cable-car ride highlighting the spectacular scenery of Lantau Island and surrounds is the first part of this popular attraction which brings visitors to Ngong Ping Village. A traditional Chinese-themed retail, dining and entertainment area, Ngong Ping Village is located close to the Lo Pin Monastery and the majestic, 34m high Big Buddha statue.

10. Wong Tai Sin Temple
One of Hong Kong’s most popular attractions, the Wong Tai Sin Temple in Kowloon is a place of worship for followers of the Taoist, Buddhist and Confucian religions. Set among impressive and tranquil gardens, the temple is also famous for its claim that it will make every wish come true upon request, as well as its beautiful buildings constructed in line with the principles of Feng Shui.
