Airports in San Francisco

San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is the primary commercial airport servicing San Francisco, located 20km south of the downtown area. SFO also services flights to major metropolitan areas across the United States. The easiest way to avoid the Bay Area traffic once you arrive at SFO is to take a BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) train from the International Terminal, which will have you in downtown San Francisco in just 30 minutes, with three to four trains departing per hour.
