Itinerary

  • Day 1 Fly to Saigon. Begin your journey by flying to Saigon, Vietnam's largest city. Depending on your arrival time, the rest of the day is free to start soaking up the local culture. Enjoy a welcome dinner in the evening.
  • Day 2 Discover Saigon. Visit the Cu Chi Tunnels to understand the guerrilla warfare tactics used during the Vietnam War. Return to Saigon to explore its rich history, including the Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, Reunification Palace, and the War Remnants Museum.
  • Day 3 Mekong Delta. Travel to Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta for a cruise through its network of palm-lined canals. Experience daily life in the delta before returning to Saigon.
  • Day 4 Journey to Hoi An. Fly to Danang and transfer to Hoi An. Take a walking tour of this charming town, visiting an old merchant?s house, Quan Cong Temple, the Japanese Bridge, and the bustling market. Visit Reaching Out, a social enterprise craft workshop, to watch artisans at work.
  • Day 5 Tra Que Village. Visit Tra Que, a small farming community supplying local hotels and restaurants with vegetables and herbs. Learn about traditional farming techniques and enjoy the lush countryside. Spend the afternoon at leisure in Hoi An or relax at the local beach.
  • Day 6 Imperial Hue. Travel to Hue to explore the Imperial Citadel, a vast complex of palaces, temples, walls, and gates. Visit the Royal Tombs and enjoy a boat ride on the Perfume River.
  • Day 7 Halong Bay Cruise. Drive to Halong Bay for an overnight cruise among its emerald waters and limestone islands. Enjoy swimming, kayaking, and exploring caves.
  • Day 8 Hanoi. Disembark and drive to Hanoi, Vietnam's capital. Visit the Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, and the Old Quarter. Enjoy a traditional water puppet show in the evening.
  • Day 9 Hanoi. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature. Explore the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum and enjoy free time in the afternoon.
  • Day 10 Hanoi. Take a day trip to the ancient capital of Hoa Lu and the picturesque Tam Coc caves, often referred to as "Halong Bay on land."
  • Day 11 Depart Hanoi. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight, bringing with you memories of Vietnam's rich history and culture.
