Itinerary

  • Day 1 Fly to Beijing. Begin your journey by flying to Beijing, China's historical capital. Depending on your arrival time, the rest of the day is yours to start soaking up the local culture.
  • Day 2 Beijing. Spend the day exploring Beijing's rich history and culture. Enjoy visits to significant landmarks and indulge in local cuisine.
  • Day 3 Beijing. Continue your exploration of Beijing, delving deeper into its historical sites and vibrant markets. Experience the city's dynamic blend of tradition and modernity.
  • Day 4 Beijing to Xian. Travel by bullet train to Xian, China's ancient former capital. Take a walking tour of the narrow and winding streets of the lively Muslim Quarter, gaining insight into the city's fascinating culture and significance as the start of the Silk Road. In the evening, enjoy a dumpling feast accompanied by an exuberant Tang Dynasty dancing show.
  • Day 5 Xian. Visit the Terracotta Army of China's first emperor, Qin Shi Huang, to view the enigmatic ranks of these life-size warriors. Explore the Xian Art Ceramics and Lacquer Workshop. Later, take a stroll on the beautifully preserved ancient city walls that enclose Xian's old town.
  • Day 6 Xian to Chengdu. Board the bullet train to Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province. Take a stroll through People's Park to see Matchmaker's Corner, where parents search for suitable partners for their children.
  • Day 7 Chengdu to Yangtze River Cruise. Visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding to see China's beloved pandas. Later, embark on a 3-night Yangtze River cruise, passing through dramatic scenery, including the Three Gorges. Enjoy various shore excursions and side trips to places like Goddess or Shennong Stream, offering glimpses of life on the riverbanks.
  • Day 10 Three Gorges Dam to Zhangjiajie. Visit the Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest hydropower project. Then, fly to Zhangjiajie, known for its towering sandstone pillars that inspired the film 'Avatar'.
  • Day 11 Zhangjiajie. Explore Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, walking along the glass bridge and taking in panoramic views of the unique landscape. Visit Tianmen Mountain, ascending via the world's longest cable car ride.
  • Day 12 Zhangjiajie to Shanghai. Fly to Shanghai, China's bustling economic hub. Take an orientation tour of the city, including a visit to the Bund, a waterfront area showcasing colonial-era buildings.
  • Day 13 Shanghai. Visit the Shanghai Museum to view ancient Chinese art. Explore the Yuyuan Garden, a classical Chinese garden, and stroll through the bustling Nanjing Road shopping district.
  • Day 14 Shanghai. Enjoy a day at leisure to explore Shanghai at your own pace. Optional activities include a visit to the Oriental Pearl Tower or a cruise along the Huangpu River.
  • Day 15 Depart Shanghai. Transfer to Shanghai Pudong Airport for your flight home, bringing with you memories of China's ancient history, cultural richness, and natural beauty.
