Itinerary

  • Day 1 Arrive New York City. You will be met on arrival at the airport and transferred to your hotel, located in the heart of New York City. Accommodation Two Nights, New York Marriott Marquis.
  • Day 2 New York City. Meet your fellow guests and Tour Director at a Welcome Breakfast this morning. After breakfast, enjoy an exciting sightseeing tour of the city, which ensures you'll cover the Big Apple's many highlights, from Central Park to Times Square. Of course, no visit to New York City would be complete without a visit to the city's iconic Empire State Building. Completed in 1931 during the Great Depression era, this art deco-style landmark remained New York's tallest building for 40 years. In the afternoon, enjoy time to make your own discoveries. You might choose to head for one of the city's museums, including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) with its world-famous art collection or the American Museum of Natural History. Alternatively, you may prefer to take a ferry ride to Liberty Island, home to America's archetypal monument, the Statue of Liberty, or perhaps enjoy some retail therapy at Macy's Herald Square, one of the world's largest department stores.   • Day 3 New York City, Washington DC. Spend time at leisure this morning in New York City before continuing to Washington DC. Known for its iconic landmarks, museums and political significance, explore famous monuments and a buzzing cultural scene in the US capital. Tonight, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Insider Experience - New York City Diner Breakfast. Indulge in classic American comfort food for breakfast at a traditional diner in New York City. Accommodation Two Nights, Washington Plaza Hotel.   • Day 4 Washington DC. Take in the city's famous sights on a tour, including the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument and FBI Headquarters. The afternoon is free for you to spend at leisure. Aside from Washington DC's historical and political landscape, there's a wealth of museums, art and culture to discover. Perhaps explore the Smithsonian Institution's National Zoo and extensive collection of museums, galleries and gardens, many of which line the city's famous National Mall. They showcase America's journey through subjects as diverse as space, natural history and art. Meals Breakfast.
  • Day 5 Washington DC, Lancaster. Today, your journey takes you to Lancaster County, home to the largest and oldest Amish community in the country. During your stay, you'll have the chance to gain an understanding of their everyday lives. The Amish are known for their traditional, simple lifestyle and still utilise horse-drawn buggies as a key mode of transportation. Insider Experience - Traditional Amish Feast. Delve deeper into the culture and traditions of the Amish community as you enjoy an authentic feast for dinner this evening. Accommodation Lancaster, DoubleTree Resort by Hilton.   • Day 6 Lancaster, Niagara Falls. Your journey continues today as you head for Niagara Falls on the border between the USA and Canada. See the spectacular sight of Niagara Falls, which is collectively made up of three impressive waterfalls. This evening, an extraordinary Insider Experience awaits. Insider Experience - Niagara Falls Illumination Tower. Overlook Niagara Falls at dinner before an exclusive visit to the Illumination Tower, where you can project your very own light display onto the Falls. Accommodation Niagara Falls, Sheraton Fallsview. Meals Breakfast, Dinner.
  • Day 7 Niagara Falls, Toronto. This morning, board a thrilling boat cruise for a journey to the base of Horseshoe Falls (raincoats provided). This is the largest of the three falls. You might also like to take an exciting helicopter flight for aerial views over Niagara Falls (own expense). Afterwards, travel to Toronto and enjoy an evening at leisure.
