Travel through Trossachs National Park to Glencoe, where the 1692 Massacre of Glencoe occurred. After a stop in Fort William, head to Glenfinnan, where Bonnie Prince Charlie began the 1745 Jacobite Rising. The Jacobite Steam Train, featured in Harry Potter, also passes here.
End at Loch Ness, famous for its mythical monster, and Inverness, the Capital of the Highlands, where you can explore Inverness Castle and the scenic River Ness.

Day 2, Inverness
Inverness - Drumnadrochit - Loch Ness - Inverness. We begin our day with a journey to the heart of Clan Fraser lands, where you can visit the tomb of Lord Lovat, the 'Old Fox' of the Jacobite Rebellion and Jamie's manipulative grandfather in Outlander.
Next, we visit the stunning Glen Affric, renowned for its lochs, mountains, and pine forests. This picturesque glen is also an ideal spot for Jamie to hide in the series. We then head to Corrimony Chambered Cairn, a 4,000-year-old burial site, a silent reminder of the ancient people's spiritual connection and ingenuity.
Leaving the ancient sites behind, we head to Drumnadrochit, a charming Highland village on the shores of Loch Ness, for lunch. Here, you can explore the majestic ruins of Urquhart Castle, which has stood for over 1,000 years, and keep an eye out for Nessie. We take a short break at Rogie Falls, where you can enjoy a walk to the suspension bridge for the best views of this stunning waterfall, surrounded by Highland beauty.
Our driver-guide will share more tales of Highland lore and history before we return to Inverness for a second evening. Unwind with a visit to a traditional Scottish pub, where you can toast to your unforgettable adventure and enjoy the local atmosphere.
Accommodation: Dalmore, Pine Guest House, Aye Stay or similar
1 breakfast, no lunch, no dinner included.
Day 3, Inverness
Inverness - Culloden - Aviemore - Parth. Today, we visit the emotional Culloden Battlefield, where Jamie and Claire said their tearful goodbye before Jamie joined the Jacobite army. This site marks the end of the Jacobite Rising and the persecution of Highland life. Explore the battlefield and visitor centre, honouring those who fell in the last battle fought on British soil.
Next, we head to Clava Cairns, an ancient site of ring cairns and standing stones, believed to have inspired Craigh na Dun from Outlander.
We continue through Cairngorms National Park to Aviemore, where you can enjoy lunch and explore the town. Then, we visit Newtonmore Highland Folk Museum, home to 18th-century crofts, also featured in Outlander as a MacKenzie clan village.
Our final stop is Killicrankie, the site of the bloody Battle of Killiecrankie, one of the most significant Jacobite battles in history.
We end the day in Perth, a former capital of Scotland. Stroll along the River Tay or enjoy a whisky in one of the town's many bars.
Accommodation: Perth
1 breakfast, no lunch, no dinner included.
Day 4, Perth
Perth - Falkland - Culross - Linlithgow - Blackness - Edinburgh. We start the day in Falkland, where Outlander filmed 1940s Inverness. Explore the cobbled streets and iconic sights like Mrs. Baird's Guesthouse and the Bruce Fountain, featured in the show's opening scenes. Next, we visit Culross, which stood in for the village of Cranesmuir, home to Geillis Duncan. Wander the historic streets and keep an eye out for Claire's herb garden behind Culross Palace.
We stop for lunch in Linlithgow, with an optional visit to the Palace, known as Wentworth Prison in Outlander. Then, we head to Blackness Castle, which serves as Fort William in the series, where you can explore Jack Randall's fictional headquarters. Next, we visit Midhope Castle, Jamie's beloved Lallybroch. While the interior is recreated in studios, sit on the iconic steps and imagine Jamie or Claire walking through the archway.
The day ends at Hopetoun House & Gardens, an 18th-century estate used for several Outlander scenes, including the Duke of Sandringham's residence. After a day steeped in Outlander history, we return to Edinburgh in the early evening.
