Day 9: Travel to Death Valley.Drive to Death Valley, where the stark beauty of the landscape awaits. After checking in, explore the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes, and catch the breathtaking sunset at Zabriskie Point.
Day 10 Death Valley.Start your day at Badwater Basin, the lowest point in North America, then head to Dante's View for panoramic views of the valley. In the afternoon, explore the colourful formations at Golden Canyon before enjoying some stargazing in the dark skies.
Day 11 Travel to Yosemite National Park.Depart Death Valley and journey to Yosemite National Park. After checking in, spend the afternoon at Yosemite Falls, taking in the majestic views before enjoying a relaxing evening at your lodge.
Day 12 Yosemite National Park.Explore the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias in the morning, marvelling at these ancient trees. In the afternoon, hike to Glacier Point for stunning vistas of the valley and surrounding mountains.
Day 13 Yosemite National Park.Visit the Yosemite Valley Visitor Centre to learn about the park's natural history. Spend your afternoon hiking some of the scenic trails, and if accessible, take a drive through Tioga Pass to enjoy more breathtaking views.
Day 14 Travel to San Francisco.Leave Yosemite and head to San Francisco, where you'll check in and then explore Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39. Enjoy dinner at a waterfront seafood restaurant, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere.
Day 15 San Francisco.Start your day with a trip to Alcatraz Island; don't forget to book tickets in advance. In the afternoon, wander through Chinatown and North Beach, experiencing the rich culture and diverse cuisine.
Day 16 San Francisco.Walk across the iconic Golden Gate Bridge in the morning, taking in the stunning views. Spend the afternoon at Golden Gate Park, visiting the California Academy of Sciences, then enjoy a picturesque dinner overlooking the bay.
Day 17 Departure.Spend your last morning exploring any final sights or doing some shopping in San Francisco. Check out and prepare for your departure, taking memories of an incredible trip with you!
