Types of Travel Insurance

Choose the Right Insurance for Your Needs

We offer you travel insurance coverage that caters to a variety of trip types and travel styles. Whether you're exploring your own backyard or venturing overseas, back-packing solo or on a cruise with the kids, you can choose from several types of travel insurance to cover the things that are most important to you while travelling.

Travel Insurance Coverage

What Our Travel Insurance Covers

How to choose travel insurance that best suits you depends on how far you're going. If you're travelling domestically within Australia, we can offer you travel insurance coverage for things like trip cancellations or delays, event cancellations, lost, stolen or delayed luggage, lost or stolen travel documents, rental car excess and even personal liability and loss of income.

If you're travelling internationally, we can offer you more travel insurance coverage for all of this, plus things like overseas medical, emergency dental costs and even pet care.

If you travel often, you can also opt for a convenient Annual Multi-trip plan.

The domestic and international plans we offer are available to you in three tiers (Bronze, Silver and Gold), one of which you can select depending on whether you need comprehensive coverage that may give you peace of mind, or a more budget-friendly option.

Our travel insurance guide below will help you choose which type of travel insurance is right for you.

To find out more about the types of travel insurance available to you through Flight Centre you should read the Product Disclosure Statement.

Refer to the Combined Financial Services Guide and Product Disclosure Statement (Combined FSG/PDS) for specifics on pre-existing medical conditions and what is already covered.
