As the national airline of Thailand, Thai Airways has its headquarters in Bangkok and primarily operates from Suvarnabhumi Airport (also known as Bangkok Airport). The airline is one of the most highly regarded in the Asia region, offering travel in Economy, Royal Silk Class and Royal First Class. Thai Airways operates a fleet of several types of aircraft, including six of the Airbus A380-800 planes which seat just over 500 passengers. Within Thailand, Thai Airways flies to ten destinations, not including Bangkok. Internationally, the airline flies direct to 63 destinations including Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Auckland. Thai Airways is a member of the Star Alliance network of airlines.
