LATAM Airlines is a Latin American airline, the product of LAN and TAM merging operations in 2012. In 2015 the new LATAM Airlines brand was officially launched, with the ‘new’ airline’s headquarters located in Santiago, Chile. LATAM flies to destinations all over South America, as well as North America, Europe and Asia/Pacific. You can fly to Santiago direct on a LATAM flight out of Melbourne or Auckland and if you’re departing from any other Australian city, your flight will take you to Auckland first. LATAM is also part of the oneworld alliance, increasing the airline’s reach to more than 1,000 destinations in over 160 countries. Class of travel aboard LATAM flights is in either Economy, Premium Economy or Premium Business.
